01

Commodity sourcing

We review a buying requirement against available offers. Grade, permissible tolerances and intended use help establish whether the material is suitable. We then consider quantity, delivery point and timing so the buyer can assess an offer against its actual needs.

02

Supply placement

We review offers from producers and suppliers against buying requirements. For a spot lot, the available quantity and loading window shape the discussion. For regular supply, we also consider parcel size, frequency and the period the supplier can cover.

03

Quotation and negotiation

We clarify what a quoted price covers, how long it is open and which conditions still need agreement. A buyer comparing a collection price with a delivered price can then see where freight and handling enter the calculation.

04

Shipment and document coordination

Where agreed for a transaction, we coordinate with the parties responsible for loading, inspection and document exchange. The contract sets out who arranges transport, who provides each document and when it is due.
