From enquiry
to delivery

Follow a trading opportunity from the initial requirement through commercial agreement and shipment.

A cargo surveyor checking a shipment at a loading point.
01
Step 01 / 04

Define the requirement

Email the product, quantity, location and dates to our trading team. Include a specification sheet if quality limits or testing methods affect whether the material can be accepted.

A sealed sample of crude oil on the window bench at a port.
02
Step 02 / 04

Compare the terms

We review the potential match and bring any material differences back for discussion. If a supplier can load during the requested week but delivery would fall outside it, we make that timing difference clear before the parties proceed.

03
Step 03 / 04

Agree the trade

The parties settle the product specification, price basis, payment terms and delivery responsibilities. An indicative quotation gives the discussion a starting point. The contract records the commitments each party has accepted.

A crude tanker connected to a marine loading arm at the jetty.
04
Step 04 / 04

Follow the shipment

The parties carry out their agreed responsibilities for loading, transport, inspection and documents. Where we coordinate a milestone, we follow up with the responsible party and communicate changes that affect delivery.
